In the 24th Century, the Klingon Empire held a battle advantage among other species for housing the Negh'Var warship. This is the largest of its kind that starship has ever known.
Negh'Var, specifically the IKS was used as the flagship of the Klingon Imperial fleet in 2372 under the command of General Martok. Martok is a changelling who led the Klingon Empire during their invasion of the Cardassian Union in stardate 49011.
The warship with formidable design was capable of warp 9 speed and equipped with escape shuttles. Despite its huge size, the basic design of Negh'Var was based on the shape and lineage of ships made over two hundred years ago. It even has a strong resemblance to the Vor'cha class' attack cruise ships.
The impulse engines of the ship were located at its wings. The bridge module contained the nacelles. The bridge module was separated from the main body by a thick neck. Two weapon pods may be located under the primary hull while a triangular superstructure is located at the dorsal section.
The ship was lined with spikes at the aft of the triangular superstructure and warp nacelles. The ship had two design variations during the 24th century and during the 2404 alternate timeline.
The ship is equipped with several disruptor emplacements and a cloaking device leading it to gain the reputation as a quick and powerful warship. The only weakness of the formidable ship is its targeting system that could easily e fooled.
